Reuni Kecil

Whoa, 3 minggu yang melelahkan. Karena rumahku di Mojokerto, sedangkan aku lagi les bahasa di Pare, dan juga harus ngurus paspor secepatnya, jadilah bolak balik Mojokerto-Pare-Surabaya. Dan yang mau aku ceritain kali ini adalah ‘reuni kecil’ hari Sabtu kemarin. Aku dan tiga sahabat SMP janjian ketemuan di Royal Plaza, Surabaya, karena pada kuliah di Surabaya. Aku berangkat sendirian dari rumah, naik bus jam 10an. Sekitar 1,5 jam kemudian nyampe deh di Bungurasih. Terus oper bus kota yang lewat Royal. Pas lagi di bus kota, dapet sms dari salah satu temen yang ikut janjian, Sesa. Dia bilang dia lagi di perjalanan tadi dan muntah-muntah, karena emang dia lagi sakit, tapi dipaksain. Huhuu, get well soon, Ses :’( Jadi yang nanti ikut tinggal tiga orang termasuk aku.

Jam 12an nyampe Royal, otomatis sendirian karena belum ada yang dateng. Aku sms Irma sama Izha, dua temen yang lain, kalo aku udah nyampe dengan selamat :3 Karena saya hanya butiran debu yang tak tau arah jalan pulang ga pengen luntang lantung sendirian di mall segede itu, jelas aku pergi ke Gramedia! Haha. Di sana lamaaa banget, sampe baju basah karena iler #eh. Sempet ngelirik Divergent sama The Warlock, tapi jadi inget pesen Mama pas aku mau berangkat tadi “Ga usah beli yang ga penting lho.” Aku bingung, “Ha? Kapan aku beli-beli yang ga penting?” karena emang aku jarang beli baju, tas, apalagi sepatu dan sebangsanya. Dan di Gramedia itu lah aku jadi tau apa yang dimaksud Mama. Ya, suka gelap mata kalo udah di tempat itu.

Setelah bosen sejaman muter-muter doing di Gramed, aku inget kalo harus ke Ace Hardware. Karena ga tau tempatnya di mana, aku cari-cari security sampe naik ke lantai atas. Eh di depan eskalator nemu Ace. Haha what a luck. Langsung ke bagian colokan-colokan gitu. Dan ternyata nemu! Tanpa bantuan mas-mas Ace loh *bangganya*. Ini dia penampakannya.

Sebelumnya kirain cuma ada universal adaptor, yang macem-macem colokannya itu. Bisa dipake di Eropa, US, UK, Jepang, dll. Tapi ternyata ada yang khusus Jepang. Bentuknya pipih aja. Jadi ya beli ini aja, lebih hemat biaya dan tempat. Hihi. Ini cuma 15ribuan, kalo yang universal 40ribu dan lebih gede.

Setelah dapet adaptor, aku nanya ke mba-mba Ace, di mana tempat vacuum bag. Sama mbanya aku dianterin ke depan, nanya temennya, ditunjukin ke samping, nanya temennya lagi, dan ternyata mbanya ga tau apa itu vacuum bag! Huaaa. Ternyata tempatnya di belakang. Dan setelah nyampe tempat yang bener, ternyata vacuum bag lagi kosong. Bagus! Iya kali harus muterin Ace Hardware Royal yang segede kapal pesiar itu. Tiba-tiba ada sms dari Irma, nanya posisi. Aku bilang nanti aku tunggu di depan Ace. Akhirnya ke kasir, bayar. Keluar, nunggu berdiri depan Ace, dan ga berapa lama, Irma dateng. Wiii, seneng bukan main bisa ketemu lagi. Udah hampir 3 tahun ga ketemu! Dan sekarang tinggal nunggu Izha, yang tadi katanya lagi di lantai atas dan mau ke sini, tapi ga nyampe-nyampe. Nungguin sama Irma di tempat tadi, sempet mau nyusulin Izha tapi takut selipan. Tapi untunglah dia dateng juga. Kalo kelamaan rencananya mau kita tinggal pulang. Nggak lah haha.

Nah, udah ngumpul semua, kita langsung sepakat untuk cari makanan. Kita pergi ke food court di lantai 3. Nyampe sana, selera makan langsung ilang liat lautan manusia #lebay. Rame banget. Ya, gimana pun harus nurutin perut. Kita turun lagi ke lantai dasar buat ke HokBen. Kita pesen paket hemat dong B) haha. Makan selesai, kita ga tau mau ke mana lagi. Jadinya muter-muter aja deh. Dan di jalan, ketemu temen SMA Izha sama Irma. Ya, mereka se-SMA. Jadi aku satu-satunya orang yang berdiri dengan awkwardnya di sana. Lama, pula -,-

Dan aku baru inget kalo aku bawa kamera, tapi tanpa memory card. Memory card-nya ketinggalan di Pare :( Jadi setelah mereka puas kangen-kangenan, daripada kita ga foto sama sekali, aku ngajakin beli memory card aja. Naik lagi ke lantai atas. Masuk ke salah satu toko, “Mba, memory card ada?” “Yang berapa giga?” “Yang paling kecil berapa?” “2 giga” “Iya itu deh, berapa?” “90ribu.” Ngoooook. “Oh 90ribu ya? Yaudah ga jadi deh mba hehe.” Kirain muraaaahhh!! Ternyata paling murah aja 90ribu! Hahaha memalukan sekali >< Jadi, kita puter otak, gimana caranya bisa dapet foto bagus tanpa kamera dan memory card.

“Gimana kalo photobox?” Dodol banget!! Kenapa ga kepikiran dari tadi?!! Haha akhirnya dengan cekikikan kita cari tempat photobox. Dan nemu satu yang keliatannya bagus. Nih, lucu-lucu kan hasilnya :3

                                

Karena udah sore, kita mau pulang. Tapi ternyata hujan deres banget, pake angin lagi. Akhirnya nunggu di Gramed, cari yang ada tempat duduknya. Haha. Udah sore banget, tapi masih agak hujan. Karena takut kemaleman, apalagi Izha bawa motor, kita pake ojek payung. Pilih yang payungnya paling gede dan sepayung bertiga! Hihi sweet banget :3 Aku pulang sama Irma dia mau pulang ke Mojokerto. Naik bus kota ke Bungurasih, sampe situ Alhamdulillah ada bus gede yang mau langsung berangkat. Tapiii, tempat duduk penuh. Dan jadilah tempat duduk kita adalah tempat di samping sopir. Yang gede di bawah itu haha. Perjalanan lancar-lancar aja walaupun agak macet karena malam Minggu, dan nyampe rumah jam setengah 9.

What a good day!! Seneng banget bisa jalan bareng besties sejak SMP yang udah lama ga ketemu! :D Tapi sedih juga karena ga lengkap. Get well soon, Sesa :(

The Lost Symbol, eh, Book

Hey bloggie, barusan dapet telepon, kabar buruk. buku-buku yang aku pesen online dan udah lama pending karena Jakarta lagi banjir sampe mobilitas kurir terganggu itu, HILANG.

Iya, HILANG. kata bapak dari jasa kurir yang barusan nelpon, waktu nganter paketanku dan pas udah mau nyampe, kurirnya kecelakaan dan ada beberapa paketan yang hilang, kemungkinan diambil orang katanya, termasuk punyaku. aku ngga tau itu beneran atau nggak, tapi yaa, aku ngga mau su'udzon.

Tapi yang jelas, aku kecewa banget! masa dia ngomong, "Tunggu satu minggu ya mba, kalo ga ada yang balikin ke mba, mba hubungi kita, nanti kita ganti uang. Mba order lagi aja. Maaf ya mba." masalahnyaaaa, aku beli di toko online yang buku-bukunya second! mana ada yang namanya "order lagi"?! pasti stoknya cuma satu lah! apalagi aku udah terlanjur cinta sama buku-bukunya. The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, Fly by Night, dan Chicken Soup for Girlfriend's Soul. yang paling aku tunggu-tunggu itu dua buku pertama. emang belum pernah direkomendasikan secara langsung sama siapa-siapa, tapi setelah aku baca sinopsis dan review-reviewnya di internet, God, I fall in love! aku suka buku-buku semacam itu, dan aku udah ngebet banget pengen baca. udah bayangin baca buku itu di teras rumah pas ujan sambil minum susu anget. udah bayangin baca sambil tengkurepan di kamar (jangan ditiru), udah bayangin gimana kira-kira si Calpurnia sama Mosca-nya. lebay ya? tapi emang aku pengen baca banget. dan kalo beli di toko buku biasa, harganya pasti lebih mahal :( ah, semoga bener-bener ada orang yang ngembaliin ke rumah. kemungkinan 0,12% tentunya -_-

itu dia sampulnya. dua-duanya punya tokoh utama seorang anak perempuan, dan dua-duanya tentang buku.

haha aku ga sadar ada kemiripan antara dua novel ini waktu beli xD

Nilai UAS

Hua, semester 1 bener-bener udah hampir selesai! UAS emang udah selesai dua minggu lalu, tapi baru hari ini nilai-nilai pada keluar. Belum semua juga sih, dari 10 mata kuliah, baru 4 yang udah muncul. Konsep Pemrograman, Logika & Algoritma, Agama sama Kwn. Dan alhamdulillah, semua memuaskan :)
Dua matkul pertama yang aku sebutin, dapet A. Dua lainnya, AB, yang ga disangka sama sekali! Aku kira agama sama kwn ini bakal dapet jelek, apalagi kwn. Matkul yang sangat horor -_- Tapi ternyata dosennya baik, aku dikasih AB, hehe.
Noww, I'm looking forward to another six! Wish me luck!

Late Night Header-Turnover

decided to put a new header to replace the old one that has been hanging up there for years.
um, so you know what the new header says, dont you? if you dont, then we must get more acquainted. because it's basically just my first name, ALIVIA. 

well you might think that it is just another weird thing i made. okay it is weird o.O but however i was so excited when i was just randomly scratching on a paper during a class, i realised that i could write my name in a much cooler way! ha!

have made a simple style of it some time ago right after 'the discovering scratch'

so i got the pattern i expected for this and then renewed it till it looked like the header you see at the top part of this blog.


sssh, i'll tell you a secret, but it's only between you and me, okay? because the thing i am telling you is such a silly thing. that i made these stuff with Microsoft Word xD

The 4th Album: Self-titled (Paramore)

again, the next big update of Paramore! #excited
last night, Paramore announced the 4th album release date and some other stuff about the album: the title, and the single Now! :D

well i am so glad and relieved that it is clear yet! haha. felt like have been waiting for this announcement forever since they let us know that they were working on a new album. 
now i can't wait for April! :)

accidentally found a tweet about Paramore show. so excited to know that Paramore is gonna back on shows finally! 

but when i went to the link on the tweet, turned out that it's Southeast Asia Shows!!!! i lost my breath for a second when i catched the title. 

then i went down, read the whole paragraph, but i couldnt find Indonesia there. and yea, it's obviously no Indonesia in their show list. how depressing D:

My Worthy Rp10k

my Rp10.ooo yesterday might be one of the most worthy i ever spent. haha. because with that amount, i got one portion of lunch and two days of impressive training.

Windows 8 Build-Apps Camp!

ya, i'm now using Windows 8 and here goes my Start page

Day 1, Saturday

on this day, we were taught how to make a metro-style application for Windows 8. undeniably, so much codes :O

but it's okay, there are kakak-kakak Windows 8 Champ who are there for you to give any help you need :P

we made an app called 'Contoso Cookbook' that will look like this at the last. it's a recipe book of dishes around the world.

of course we didnt do the whole code from the very beginning. the code of the recipe itself has been done. we were just doing things so that the app would look like it's supposed to.

some of us got some troubles in the progress. but thank God mine is okay and finally i did it! aaahh, the feeling when your app works! :D

Day 2, Sunday

this is pretty much more fun than the Day 1 because there would be no code at all :P yet we will still make an app. this time, a 2D game!

we are using Construct 2, a game maker that's really easy to use.

i can't show the screenshot because i cant find it anywhere in my files. ya, i forget where i saved it. my bad -____-"

well i will update the picture after i find it.

and at the end of the day, the Champs announced that they will make Student Club, where a group of students will be trained by one Champ in making apps and such things. so of course i'm in! 

because from those two days, i decided that it will be so nice to be one of the Champs :)

A Birthday Wish

remember the picture I post few days ago? haha that was actually just a birthday wish I made for my friend, Ika.
not really good, but hey, it took some hours of my sleep! you owe me THAT much, Ka! :P


it was supposed to be Taylor Swift, because Ika is a big fan of her. but poor me, it turned out to be someone else who doesnt look like her. but somehow i think the eyes are similar :P i dont know, it's just my opinion haha. 
and the most disturbing part is the lips. and i think it's a fatal error, because everybody knows that Taylor's lips is like one of her 'signatures'. i mean it's very unique. and hard to draw -_-
ah, face and all the complexities.

and I decorate the "Happy Birthday" font with the notes because Ika loves singing very much.

Long Weekend. Good Idea?

Hello, long weekend!

I was supposed to be in Bandung right now. one of my friends invited me and the other friends to go to her house in Bandung for the long weekend. and of course we agreed! xD 
so it's me, Eliya and mba Rere who were going to go. yea, was very excited to go since i have never been in that city. but plan is always a plan. but the odds was not in our favor *berasa Effie Trinket --" 
Eliya got a sudden assignment from her college so she couldnt go. and we thought it would not be fun if one person is missing, so we decided not to go. kinda disappointing :( but it's okay. or it's not huhu :/ because here i am in my room, doing nothing all this day except the 'jalan sehat' this morning. and unexpectedly, i met a college friend there! haha but i did not greet her. we dont know personally so yeah, that would probably be a little awkward if i did :|

and now i dont have anywhere to go for the next 3 days. what could make it worse?! should be a retoric question, but i have the answer: no enough assignments to kill time. as far as i remember, this week's task are: *okay, i'll make a list*
1. Pak Kholid: make your own homepage. you can use Notepad, Dreamweaver, or anything
2. Pak Ali: triangular flowchart
3. Pak Fachrul: a report about the two dimensional array

my progress:
1. i have done my homepage like 70% because the lecturer gave the task two weeks ago.
2. 100%
3. have done the code, just need to write down the report on the paper. won't take too much time.


so, it's long weekend. a good or a bad idea?

I'm a Half Phlegmatic and a Half Melancholic

baru tau ternyata dalam psikologi, kepribadian manusia itu dibagi jadi empat: Sanguinis, Koleris, Melankolis, Plegmatis.

kenapa aku tiba-tiba ngomongin itu? o.O

jadi, dua hari terakhir ini, HIMIT PENS (Himpunan Mahasiswa Informatika PENS) ngadain LKMM Pra-TD buat para Maba 2012. apa itu LKMM Pra-TD? :O

LKMM singkatan dari Latihan Keterampilan Manajemen Mahasiswa. LKMM ada 4 tingkatan, yaitu:
1. LKMM pra-TD (pra Tingkat Dasar) 2. LKMM TD (Tingkat Dasar) 
3. LKMM TM (Tingkat Menengah) 
4. LKMM TL (Tingkat Lanjut) 
nah, LKMM yang aku ikutin barusan ini adalah LKMM paling dasar, yaitu Pra-TD.
di LKMM pra-TD ini, peserta diajari manajemen diri, seperti gimana cara ngatur waktu, gimana memprioritaskan kegiatan, dll.

nah salah satu materi LKMM Pra-TD hari ini adalah "Pengenalan Diri". yang jelas, kita ga bisa mengenali diri kita kalau kepribadian aja kita ga tau, ya kan? jadi, di dalam materi itu tadi  dijelasin tipe-tipe kepribadian manusia. ya itu, empat yang udah aku sebutin di atas. kata kakak pematerinya, sebenernya, di setiap individu ada keempat tipe itu, tapi pasti ada tipe yang paling menonjol di antara tipe yang lain. dan biasanya, seseorang punya kombinasi dua kepribadian yang dominan.
dan tadi kita juga dikasih semacam soal-soal psikologi, buat mengetahui kepribadian kita. andddd, it turns out that..

hari ini pulang siang. lagi UTS, seperti yang udah aku ceritain di post sebelumnya. jadi pulang ngampus tadi langsung ke kosan. bisa bersih-bersih kamar dan ngerjain lain-lain :3

udah beres semua, daaaan seperti biasa, hal yang dilakukan: online!

yak, kalo udah ngenet rasanya di dunia cuma ada aku dan laptop -_- asik asik surfing, sekitar jam 5an gitu ada yang ketok pintu gerbang kosan. mungkin banyak yang mikir betapa tajamnya telingaku, sampe orang ngetok gerbang aja kedengeran B) tapi jangan salah saudara-saudara, kamarku adalah kamar paling depan di kosan ini --"

karena kosan lagi lumayan sepi dan sepertinya mustahil penghuni kos lain denger, yaudah mau ga mau aku samperin walaupun berat rasanya angkat pantat dari kasur (?!)

dan ternyata pemirsaaaa, itu paketanku! :3 beberapa hari yang lalu aku order buku di  BukuKita, my favorite online book store. highly recommended! dan yang aku beli kali ini adalah....................

haha ga biasanya beli buku dengan cover sangar seperti ini. tapi penasaran banget sama novel ini setelah baca baca reviewnya, yang hampir semua bilang bagus banget. apalagi karakter utama cewenya katanya bisa hacking B) dan punya ingatan fotografis B) haha keren aja gitu.

yaudah, cari posisi paling pewe dan langsung baca. baru sampe halaman ke-4 cerita, kaget banget pas nemuin satu kalimat ini:

"Tapi, sesungguhnya bunga itu hanyalah satu dari rangkaian kiriman bunga misterius yang selalu datang melalui perantaraan pos pada hari pertama pada bulan November."

heiii, agak ngeri sendiri gitu pas baca itu. gimana enggak, ini hari pertama bulan November dan aku barusan dapet kiriman pos haha. accident? :P

that is what that has been always going on. actually, there's always a time just to post some line of writing here. but i'm too lazy :/ or i just forget to do so sometimes. 
nah, now that i am here in front of my laptop and i'm in a quite good mood to write, I will write something. what something? I don't even know -_- 
ummm, well, okay, i guess it's going to be about my college life B)

you know, I'm in the mid-term test, you guyssss!!
it started on Monday so today is the third day. it was such a confusion for me at the first because yea, I'm new in college and never had this kind of test before, so it's my first!
well it's basically just like another test but I feel still clumsy ._. it is probably because i never had any exam in the last 5 months :|

the first day was Agama and Kewarganegaraan. hahah what the?! yeah I was very shocked we still have Kwn in college. but this is the real life! -_- the exam was mostly just about opinion and explanation, so i dont really care if i wrote random things there :/

the second day was Math 1 and Discrete Math. huaaaa never felt this bad about a Math exam :( i think i'm gonna fail at those two subjects, i dont know :| yea i strongly believe it was because i didnt do enough effort for that so i guess i deserve this -,-

and yeaah, the third day (today) we have Programming and English exam. they both went pretty great, I think. because I love programming as much as I love english! <3 font="font" nbsp="nbsp">
oh yea, the title of this post is the basic code of one of programming languages called C haha doing those things is so much fun you know :P 

phew, alright. finally almost done writing a blog post hahah at least it will set me free from the guilt of neglecting my blog :P

okay so, still have two more days left of exam. tomorrow is Algorithm, my most favorite subject this far. and the next good thing, you dont have to study for this subject ;)

the first one is the picture of Edelweiss. i went to Bromo last holiday and yea, that was my first time seeing this flower and i was like, "PRETTYYYY!!! :O" i was directly toward one of the sellers and (shamelessly) took photos of the flowers without buying one :P what is that hole? no worry, that's just the broken table haha

this is my favorite shoot of Lebaran. this picture was taken when we are waiting for big family to gather for 'sungkeman' after Eid prayer. those two adorable kiddies are Oca and Adhif, my 3-year-old cousins. I can't believe I got this moment. see how cute they are!

what is that? anyone knows? haha that is bird origami. LOTS of birds, literally. i got this photo when i was in Embassy of Japan for my scholarship test. we (the particpants) gathered in a quite large room (where the origami is hung on the front wall) for listening to short briefing. and when the speaker was out, i took this! hahaha
